Description

Consistent Power, Effortless Distance – CTX Precision Feeder Performance

Using 40t Japanese carbon with Bi-Axis carbon tape, the CTX Power Feeders are built to cast long and true. The blanks are carefully designed to load progressively, generating consistent power without the risk of ‘exploding’ bait-filled feeders on the cast. This makes them ideal for accurate, long-range fishing with methods like open-ended and hybrid feeders.

Each rod features a shorter 540mm long quiver tip section to reduce the joint diameter where it meets the main blank. This clever design eliminates flat spots and allows smoother energy transfer for enhanced bite detection and fish control. The rods are fitted with three carbon tips as standard, all with large guide diameters to accommodate shock leaders and heavier main lines.

The 13’ Special and Distance Power Feeder models are offered in both two and three main sections (excluding the quiver tip). The use of two sections means only one joint in the middle of the rod, reducing the blank diameter and producing a more consistent action at the expense of transport length, although packing these away made up involves just folding in the middle. Three-section rods have an extra joint, making the blank wider in diameter and slightly stiffer, trickier to pack away when left setup but fit better in shorter luggage holdalls.

Precision Components

All CTX Power Feeders are fitted with Fuji VSS reel seats and high-quality anti-frap guides, starting with a 30mm butt guide and tapering quickly to optimise line flow. The extended handles are made from ‘A’ Grade cork, with EVA foregrips and stainless steel collars and butt caps. These components offer a premium feel while keeping the rods light and responsive in the hand.
