Description
Built for Long-Range Accuracy
Like every rod in the Hi-‘S’ series, the Power Feeders are constructed using our Ultra Low Resin Carbon, producing blanks that are light, powerful and responsive. What sets these rods apart is their ability to build power progressively, giving the angler full control during the cast and helping to avoid problems such as method feeders ‘blowing out’ mid-air.
To eliminate flat spots and ensure a consistent action, long hollow carbon quiver tips are used, manufactured from the same material as the blank. This creates a smooth transition of power through the tip section, allowing smaller feeders to be cast further with less effort, which is particularly effective when baiting lightly in colder months. Larger size 5 and 6 tip guides also aid shock leader use and help prevent clogging from surface debris.
Section design varies across the range. Two-piece rods (11ft, 12ft and 13ft) deliver a slimmer profile and more progressive action, while the three-piece models (13ft and 14ft) are ideal where transport length is a consideration. All rods are fitted with Kigan Anti-Frap guides, including a size 30 butt guide for improved line flow.
Fuji Reel Seat
Each rod is fitted with a Fuji TVSTS reel seat, selected for its lightweight construction, comfortable grip and enhanced sensitivity. Slimmer blanks feature a size 16 whilst more powerful models the size 17. The ‘blank touch’ design allows anglers to feel the blank directly, improving feedback and bite detection while providing a secure fit for larger reels during long-range feeder work.
Quiver Tip Options
In addition to the supplied hollow carbon quiver tips, a comprehensive range of spare tips is available to fine-tune performance to conditions. Options include Hollow Carbon, Solid Carbon, Glass and Titanium tips in multiple strengths, covering everything from delicate bite indication to heavy feeder fishing at extreme range. Follow here for full quiver tip options and specifications.
Handle Options
The Power Feeders are available with a choice of handle styles to suit individual preference and fishing style. Anglers can opt for a traditional full cork rear grip with an EVA butt cone, offering greater support when playing powerful fish, or choose an abbreviated handle with EVA butt grip for a lighter overall weight, a modern appearance, and easier cleaning on busy venues. Custom handle options are available on request.
