Description
Ultra-Responsive Hollow Carbon Design
The Hi-‘S’ Hollow Carbon Quiver Tips are built on ultra-slim mandrels using the same advanced carbons found in the Hi-‘S’ rod range. Their completely hollow construction ensures enhanced feedback and tip recovery, allowing anglers to detect subtle movements while benefiting from the smoother blank integration that hollow tips naturally offer.
At 630mm long, these tips blend seamlessly into the feeder rod’s quiver section, providing superb casting stability and a progressive action that distributes load evenly through the rod. This makes them ideal for both accurate long-range work and confident fish playing.
Optimised for Bite Detection & Versatility
These tips are available for all Hi-‘S’ feeder ranges, offering a comprehensive spread of ratings to suit everything from delicate winter fishing to heavier commercial work. The softer ratings deliver smooth indication for shy-biting species, while the higher strengths offer the power and stability needed when targeting carp or when using heavier payloads.
- Progressive action for smooth casting and controlled power build-up.
- White and orange sight marks for clear visibility in all light conditions.
- Perfect for species that produce strong, deliberate pulls such as bream, carp and F1s.
Guide Configurations for All Models
- Hi-‘S’ Carp Feeders, Feederlites, F1 & SR Feeders – 6 guides + tip on all ratings.
- Hi-‘S’ Power Feeder – Lighter ratings feature 6 + tip; heavier models (3oz+) use 5 + tip with larger guide sizes suitable for shockleaders.
‘Windbeater’ Hollow Carbon Tips
During testing of the Hi-‘S’ Glass Tips, there were occasions where a very light tip was required but glass proved too vulnerable to wind movement, making bite detection difficult. To overcome this, the ‘Windbeater’ Hollow Carbon Tips were developed.
- ¼oz hollow carbon construction for stability in strong winds.
- Much less susceptible to being blown around compared to glass equivalents.
- Extreme sensitivity with improved control in open, exposed venues.
These tips dramatically improve presentation and bite detection when conditions are challenging.
