The Hi-‘S’ Solid Carbon Quiver Tips provide a balanced alternative between the ultra-responsive hollow carbon tips and the soft-action glass tips. Designed with a slightly faster action, these tips register subtle movements while offering improved stability in challenging conditions such as flowing water, undertow or breezy days. Their solid construction also allows for excellent casting performance in the higher weight ratings, making them a versatile option for a wide variety of feeder fishing styles.

Available across the full Hi-‘S’ feeder family, Solid Carbon Tips are offered in 3.3mm diameters for Carp Feeders, Feederlites, F1 Feeders and SR Feeders, and in 3.6mm diameters for the Power Feeder range. All tips are finished in white with an orange sight mark for consistent bite visibility.

Balanced Sensitivity with Added Stability

The Hi-‘S’ Solid Carbon Quiver Tips provide a perfect middle ground between hollow carbon and glass. Their faster, more controlled action makes them ideal for registering delicate bites, while offering improved stability compared to glass—especially useful when flow, tow or wind would otherwise move the tip excessively.

Because they are solid, these tips handle pressure well during casting and fish-playing. This makes them particularly useful when stepping up to heavier feeders, when fishing at medium to long range, or on rivers and deeper stillwaters with uneven undertow.

Improved Casting in Higher Ratings

In stronger ratings, Solid Carbon Tips deliver noticeably better casting response than glass. Their faster recovery means more accurate placement, longer distances when needed and better control of feeder weight in flowing water.

  • Registers subtle indications without the over-flex of glass.
  • Stiffer mid-action gives better stability in windy or tow-affected swims.
  • Excellent casting behaviour in the 1.5oz+ ratings.

Affordable & Practical Construction

Solid carbon tips are manufactured using an extrusion process, making them more affordable than hollow carbon equivalents while still offering an excellent balance of performance. Finished with white and orange visual markings below the tip guide, they maintain excellent visibility even in low light.
